Giveaway: Financially Savvy Baby
Its Friday. You know what that means…its giveaway time!
This week I’m proud to offer a fun and practical giveaway for new parents. But first, I just have to ask…where was this 30 something years ago??
The good people at Munny Journey have developed the coolest little tool for your little ones: The Munny Journey Keepsake Journal.
Munny Journey is a keepsake journal for baby’s first money. It is beautifully illustrated, with full color pages to store memories such as baby’s first dollar, the first savings account, and the financial dreams of mommy and daddy. It shows you how fun and easy it is to provide for the financial security of your child for as little as a dollar a day.
Babies have been given the gift of time. Time allows even small deposits of money to grow to wealth and financial security by the simple concept of savings. And not to worry…if your “newborn” isnt exactly a newborn anymore, but playing Xbox and riding a bike, there’s a simple chart to help you “catch up” and build investment savings for your child. These also make a wonderful baby gift!
To win the Munny Journey, simply leave a comment on this post by Thursday, August 14, 12:00 a.m. Also, be sure to check out Munny Journey’s very cute website where you’ll find plenty of helpful information.
Good luck and check back next week for the winner of the Land’s End and Barefoot Books giveaway!

We just started Blondie’s first account, and we’ve been considering starting with allowance, too; this way she can choose how to spend some of her money, understand that it doesn’t grow on trees and the bank doesn’t give it to us out of the ATM just ’cause they like us, etc. This looks great!

this is an excellent giveaway and a super great idea. i love it. if i don’t win i’m going to have to buy it. my husband gave our 3 year old a dollar to put in her piggy bank but she wouldn’t. she said she’d rather give it back than put it in the jar. can you believe that? a little help would be nice.

What an amazing tool to have to teach my son the value of money. In this crazy world of spending madness – this seems like an awesome way to show how tracking your spending is absolutely critical to managing a healthy financial future! Andrew loves to put money in his piggy bank and watch it grow. I never would have thought of journaling about it! Great idea! I am glad I stumbled upon your blog

Wow, I’ve never seen the Munny Journey before. It really seems like a great tool! We started an account for each of their kids by emptying their piggybank into an account for the first birthday. The bank even gives them a stuffed piggy for becoming banking customers. This Munny journey is definitely something that I am going to look into for my kiddos.

I love the concept of teaching little ones YOUNG how important it is to save money! And it is even easier and more fun with so much time on their side.
What a fabulous giveaway!

Sounds really nice. Babys first money. Then along comes College and there goes every last penny. LOL…
Also, I bet if a child sees how long it took them to save their money, they would not spend it as fast.
