Take a Poll Tuesday: Sweetheart
Well, after my hyper-mushy post yesterday, I thought I’d need to follow it up with a mushy poll.
My hubby and I met in college. We were friends for a couple of years before he asked me out. Then it was only a matter of one year before we were married. I had just graduated and he was going for a 5th year.

Hubby and I met just about 9 years ago (our anniversary is Thursday) at church- we were both out of college.

Charlie and I met at church too. I’d been out of college for four years. He’d been out for …a bit longer.
We were on a ministry team in our singles class. He was leader. It was there that I learned to follow. 
We married only 10 mos after we started dating. Our 15th anniversary is next April.

My husband and I met at a singles conference. We were married a year later to the day. We had both moved to Texas just a few months earlier – I from Oregon, him from Missouri. Thank goodness for job transfers!:)

We met in high school, and when Steve was “fresh” with me, I’d hit him over the head with my Western Civ textbook or pull him by his tie down to my eye level and yelled at him. He’d just stand there with a fairly dopey grin on his face. For about 3 years, he liked me and I wasn’t terribly fond of him. Then we started dating, and were engaged a month later.

I met my handsome honey at my sister’s wedding….I was a bridesmaid….he was a groomsmen….awwwww…and almost 19 years later, I still like him! LOL

We met at a pool party the summer before my freshman year in high school, which was his senior year in high school. He brought his sister and his girlfriend, and I just thought he was the cutest thing I had ever seen. We dated once during that year for a whopping two months or so, but we were still friends after that. During my senior year in high school we started dating “for reals”, got engaged a couple years later, got married a couple years after that, and now we’ve been married for five years. I love my man!

We met at church. My small group leader was his new boss at Raytheon. There was a little match-making going on.
From first date to wedding…99 days.
It’s been 7 years and I wouldn’t change a thing!

I met my husband after college. We both lived in the same apartment complex in Florida and met out by the pool. That was 16 years ago – oh my time flies by!
