Tag I’m It: Seven Things About Me

Jenn at The Coupon Coup tagged me with a “get to know you” sort of Meme. I love memes so I’m always glad to play along. This one involves sharing 7 facts about yourself…here we go:

Fact #1: I am in love with white t-shirts. I would wear one everyday (if I didn’t think that would be odd…).

Fact #2: I can’t swim. Never have, never will. Despite the whole world trying to teach me.

Fact #3: I’ve never had a ticket or been in an accident. I need some wood…quick!

Fact #4: I hardly ever wear makeup.

Fact #5: I sing, and have all my life. But. I’d much rather sing in front of a thousand people than just two or three (even my husband). Weird, huh?

Fact #6: I have a hamster named Peanut.

Fact #7: I just got my hair highlighted for the first time in YEARS…See??

Here’s who I’m tagging:

Liz at Goddess in Progress
Grace at Serious Whimsey
Jana at The Cat in the Hat & Things 1 Through 4
Caryn at Rockin’ Mama
Ryan at Black Ops Manners
Just Another SAHM
Andrea at Chocolate Fingerprints

Ok, these are the rules for tagging…
1) Link back to the person who tagged you and share the rules on your blog
2) Share 7 facts about yourself
3) Tag 7 people and list their links in your post
4) Tell those 7 people by commenting on their blog!

I don’t have a working blog yet, and I don’t feel like thinking up my own stuff, so I’ll comment on/duplicate yours.

#1: Me too! But right now I don’t have any I like too much.
#2: I can swim, but I sink like a rock and don’t particularly like to get my face wet, so I choose not to most of the time. My swimmer hubby makes as much fun of me as he can.
#3: I can’t say the same about the ticket, but it was only one and it was totally NOT my fault. Unfortunately, the person I was up against was the cop himself, and he was on a bit of an ego trip, so I lost… but I was innocent, I tell you!
#4: I wear mascara, but that’s it. Unless there’s some fancy thing goin’ on.
#5: Me too. My parents used to get so mad because they had to wait to hear my solos until they went to the show like everyone else. :)
#6: I have no pets anymore. I’m trying to convince hubs that we should at least get a fish, but no dice yet.
#7: Cute! I love it. I want to get mine done too.

I had just stopped by here to tag your blog for a similar ’7 things’ game! I’m going to go ahead and tag you anyways, since I enjoy reading your blog and would be happy to send a few of my friends and family your way. Don’t feel like you need to do it all over again : )

Thanks for playing along! Please feel free to do so anytime. ;) (Until Steph and I peer pressure you into starting your own blog!). And I TOTALLY believe you on the ticket. Cops…sheesh. ;)

Pretty hair. I love white tees too. Nothing is more classic then denim and a white tee.

Very cute highlights! :) I’ve been stopped before, but never gotten a ticket, even when I was once driving without my lights on or my purse in my car (no, not drunk, just 16 years old!!). Does that mean I’m cuter than I think, or just lucky? ;)

    Comments…

#1) I like black shirts, personally. I think that white just tends to “wash me out” – my complexion is a bit too pale to pull it off, I think.

#2) Really? Now that is an interesting tidbit about you. Do you like to be in the water or do you prefer to be on solid ground?

#3) I’ve never had a ticket either. But I’m kind of a “rule-follower” in general.

#5) This one totally makes sense. I feel the same way about public speaking. It’s so much easier in front of a large crowd.

#7) Your hair is so cute – and I love your expression. Oh, and how perfect that you’re wearing a white shirt!
