Holiday Gift Guide, Deals, & Giveaways Extravaganza 2008: Day 1
Wow.
Do you realize that Christmas is only 35 days away? I know I’m nowhere near ready…are you?
So I’m excited to share with you my version of a Holiday Gift Guide. Check back each day for the next couple of weeks as I post a new Giveaway, a Deal and a Resource to help you with your Holiday gift list…there’s something for everyone!
I just have to ask…who doesn’t love Land’s End? I could probably find something for everyone on my list at their website alone.

My 12 year old has been begging us for a cell phone. I’m still contemplating this whole idea, but I would really consider using Kajeet. Its the cell phone service designed especially for kids. Kajeet lets parents control everything from what time of day calls can be made and received, how much can be spent per month and who is in your child’s phone book. There is also an option to add a GPS service to always be able to locate the phone (and theoretically, your child…). The are no annual contracts and several calling plans to choose from.

My friend Stephanie from Red Clay Diaries shared a website in a comment the other day and I dont think she would mind if I shared it with you. In talking about Black Friday, she mentioned that blackfriday.info is a website that lists all the major store ads for Black Friday. They also have online coupons and discount codes. Plus, they list the stores that have Black Friday deals on their website if you want to avoid the crowds and shop in your jammies. Like me.

Lands End does offer great classic pieces. If I win, I think I’ll save the card (since they don’t expire) and buy a swimsuit when that season comes back around. I’ve heard that they make high-quality ones that are really flattering.

Yay for Christmas! It’s my favorite favorite favorite. I know Thanksgiving hasn’t come yet, and I am excited and thankful and all, but I’m already in the Christmas mood. Also, yay for Land’s End! And since Hubs and I decided to only give stockings to one another this year, the amount of presents under the tree will be smaller. I wanna win stuff…
