about
So a few things about me…
you already know I’m a mom…to three great boys. Oldest is 12, middlest is 9 and youngest is 7. They fill my life with all sorts of fun and “flutteriness”.
I’ve been happily married for 16 years to my college sweetheart and still the man of my dreams. I am a WAHM doing freelance graphic and web design. I am blessed.
I am also a Bargain-hunter, eBayer, Meal-maker, Homework-helper, Lunch-packer, Taxi-driver, Spill-wiper, Putter-awayer, Clean-up-after-er, Bill-payer, Referee, Allowance-giver and Boo-boo kisser. And in my spare time I love scrapbooking, jewelry making, photography and playing 1st base on our church softball team.
My top priorities in life are to know God and the depth of His love for me, and to be the best wife and mom I can be. I fall short in some way far too often, but luckily, I get a fresh start every day.
The inspirations for this blog are some of my amazing “mom-friends”. I dont know a more motivated, dedicated, inventive group of people. Motherhood can be so demanding and we don’t always do everything perfectly, but there’s a reason for the old saying…”the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world”!
Here’s to all you moms doing all you do as your apron strings flutter behind you!

Hello! I came across your site via Grace Dove’s blog (we go to Church together) and I just wanted to tell you how cute your blog was! I am an “aspiring” stay at home with business on side Mom. My husband and I have been married for just over a year, no kids yet…but we’re getting a dog soon. Your website is very creative, and a joy to browse. Thanks for putting together your site and keep up the great work!

K, so I know you in real life and I’ve been reading your blog from the beginning, but I still don’t know: do you often wear aprons, or was it just a cute idea?

Erica,
Well, honestly? It was the visual of the apron strings flapping in the wind more than anything…aprons being a very maternal and domestic symbol. But, I do love to wear them when I’m cooking (especially something messy) and when I cut the boys hair (to prevent those little hairs from going places hey don’t need to be.
Thanks for asking!

Hey! I just noticed this page! Did you recently change it? I love the photos and the mini “bio.” I’m so happy to have you as a friend.
